Intentions & Guiding Practices

We are youth-led and community-driven. We listen first, reflect often, and adapt as we grow — staying responsive to the people and neighborhoods that shape our movement.
We lead with encouragement and care. Whether we’re collaborating, coaching, or celebrating milestones, we uplift one another. Every high five, check-in, and kind word helps build the culture we want to see.
We value authenticity and belonging. Each person’s lived experience, language, and identity strengthen who we are. We celebrate all goals, all abilities, and all ways of showing up.
We take care of each other and the spaces we share. We listen deeply, use names, offer support, and honor different needs, experiences, and paces — both on and off the pavement.
We pay attention and honor ourselves, those around us, and the communities we move within. We notice what’s needed, stay grounded in the moment, and respond with care and intention.
We stay grounded in why we do this work. Every action — from a conversation with a youth to a decision in the boardroom — is connected to our purpose of creating equitable access to movement and wellbeing.
Growth takes curiosity and courage. We embrace learning, take feedback with humility, and see challenges as part of moving forward — together.
We believe leadership is shared. Everyone’s ideas, questions, and experiences matter. We speak up when something isn’t right, ask for help when needed, and create space for all voices to be heard.
